           Once again, Another of our well known hoods is being tore down today. Bankhead Courts, the western most project will be completely demolished over the next couple days to make way for a new luxurious mixed income town home and condominium community with a fancy name. I hope y'all know this is just apart of The City's attempt to move all the black people out and spruce things up to attract white residents who will pay anything to live in Atlanta so they can raise property taxes. Basically Atlanta is selling us out for tax money. Its sad, but its life. If u got some drank, pour some out. RIP BANKHEAD COURT 1971-2010

One of the most popular models from the legendary Air Penny line returns in 2010. The Air Penny 3 originally released as a follow-up to the Foamposite One, which was a tough spot to be in. The design stepped it up, and was immediately embraced by the sneaker community who often referred to the shoe as “liquids” because of the wavy foamposite piecing. Utilizing Foamposite material only in part, the upper is also made of white leather. The visible Max Air heel was also iconic and reappears as a major fixture in the 1/2 Cent, a fusion of the Penny line.

 First released as the follow-up to the Foamposite One in the Penny Hardaway line, this Penny 3 takes some of the best from the Foamposite world: the eggplant color and the rippling Foamposite piecing on the upper. The rest of the upper is white leather, with a black and purple outsole. On the medial side, the leather is perforated to reveal purple lining.

Foamposites (Copper)

 

 

Originally released in 1997 as the 3rd shoe in the Penny Hardaway line, the Foamposite made a huge splash with its revolutionary injection-molded foam upper. This material quickly became a staple in the sneaker game, finding its way onto other Penny models (Air Penny 3, 1/2 cent) as well as other "posite" models like the Flightposite. Colors also played a key role on the fresh canvas that this new material provided including the rise of eggplant, dark army and others. This new "copper" color really takes it to a new level with a literal interpretation of "Penny." Metallics have always been popular but usually with silver, and this move to copper is a new one. If it’s a hit you can be sure it will resurface…
